More About Me

Currently, I hold the position of Grant Writer at Great Parks of Hamilton County and I'm a member of the Grant Professionals Association, Green Umbrella, the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association, and the Cincinnati Chamber. My background provides me with experience in the areas of natural resources, water quality, grants & development, program establishment, education, and citizen science. I worked locally at the Mill Creek Watershed Council of Communities (now Mill Creek Alliance) for four years and two years at the Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District. I've learned a great deal from my time at each of these organizations and look forward to the opportunity to return to the soil and water conservation district family as a supervisor.

My educational background includes a B.S. in Environmental Studies and Journalism from Central Michigan University and a Professional Writing Graduate Certificate from the University of Cincinnati. I earned an Inspection and Maintenance Certification for Stormwater Control Measures in Ohio and completed the 2017 program of the Ohio Environmental Leaders Institute from The Ohio State University. I am also a Qualified Data Collector through the Ohio Surface Water Credible Data Program.

Outside of work, I'm involved in the Young Professionals Choral Collaborative and I enjoy exploring local and state parks, visiting farmers markets, riding my bike, playing tennis, and tending to my backyard garden. My husband and I very much enjoy living in the City of Sharonville.
